This is not a commentary on my neighbors. My neighbors are such that Mr. Rogers himself would have been envious. Rather, this song is an ode to the tired zombie thriller plot.

I forgot to add this disclaimer to the site. My dedication to my writing and recording a song a week has slackened for a very specific reason: I’m back in school. Fortunately I’ll be finishing my master’s in IS in a couple months and as soon as that happens I will renew my song-a-week schedule. Until then it will most likely be “A Song if I Happen to Have All My Work Done and I’m Not In the Mood to Play Team Fortress II”.
Way back in ’93 there was a local band in Utah lead by the talented Jamen Brooks. All the locals loved them and had high hopes that they would bust out of the local scene to some bigger venues and audiences. Well, instead they busted up and left us all mourning. But their song “Come Back to Me” remains one of my all time favorite love songs. Here’s my paltry version.
I must have the blues lately. This is a song I wrote 4 or so years ago, but it remains one of the few I am proud of. This is the third time I’ve recorded it and still not quite right, but close enough.
